ACCOMMODATION Beds & Baths: 6 BDR/6 BTH Aiola is a strikingly beautiful, restored country house that is part of a 1700-acre estate. An intimate, luxurious haven, Aiola is ideal for private getaways and family reunions. Larger groups can also rent Villa Monticchia, which is part of the same estate. This lovely villa is located in the Val d'Orcia region, south of Tuscany. This extraordinarily beautiful stretch of Italy sits between Rome and Florence with open, breathtaking views of Mount Amiata. Aiola is very close to San Casciano dei Bagni, a beautiful unspoiled medieval village that is one of the well-kept secrets of this special region. The property's ground floor features a spacious living/game room with a billiard and gambling table. There is a lovely dining area with an open kitchen corner with direct access to the garden. Also on the ground floor are a queen bedroom and twin bedroom, each with its own private bathroom. Aiola's first level provides special spaces for dining and relaxation. The reception/living hall with fireplace, living/TV room and elegant dining room provide ideal gathering spaces for guests. The master suite has a queen-sized bedroom and a private bathroom with shower. Two twin bedrooms, one full bedroom and two additional bathrooms make this a wonderful place to share with friends and family. Wander outside the villa and you can revel in the carefully tended gardens and extensive lawn, ideal for lounging. Take a walk in Aiola's private woods, or as an alternative, while away an afternoon dining al fresco in the private pergola, taking breaks for a refreshing dip in Aiola's impressive and beautiful swimming pool. The nearest village, San Casciano dei Bagni, is 15 minutes away by car. |
