Cypress-lined boulevards lead to this luxurious 17th century villa that is located near the medieval town of Lucca. Lavishly decorated with quality antiques, rich fabrics and charming frescoes, this property is one of the best in the area. Near the seaside and featuring its own staff, Villa Bosco is the perfect getaway location.

There are six bedrooms in Villa Bosco. On the first floor, three king junior suites each have a spacious en suite bathroom. On the second floor, two king junior suites and one large twin suite each have a spacious en suite bathroom.

The ground floor unfolds into a welcoming living room where all guests can convene before moving to the large dining room, which features a beautiful working fireplace. A spacious central salon and office are on the first floor. The second floor boasts a similar salon with home theatre TV and a library room.

Dine al fresco beside the pool under a canopy pergola of bougainvillea, or stroll the grounds, where a wide park with lime-trees, oaks, olives, magnolias, and large bushes of aromatic plants and roses create a fresh, romantic setting that will appeal to all.

Villa Bosco is secluded and protected by an enclosure wall that expresses the aristocratic architecture of the region. The layout of the property hearkens to an older era—the upper level of the house is a noble floor, while rooms on the main levels are distributed symmetrically around a central salon. These spacious living areas make this villa highly suitable for large groups, especially wedding parties. Immaculate gardens and lush outdoor surroundings enhance the historic beauty of this getaway spot. The famous Forte Dei Marmi resort town, featuring great restaurants and shopping, is just a few minutes away.

What to do in the Lucca area of Tuscany
The historic town of Lucca features many attractions and unlimited historic charm. Take a stroll or rent a bicycle and ride through the town past famous monuments, ancient walls, several churches and the Guinigi Tower, which has trees planted at the top. In the town's cathedral is a small chapel containing the famous "volto santo" cross of Lucca. Every September 14th, the huge procession of Santa Croce fills the streets of Lucca to commemorate the date when the cross was first brought to the town. Tourists from all over the world come to enjoy this annual local tradition. Make sure to visit the church of Saint Michele, then enjoy cappuccino in Saint Michele square. And don't miss shopping along the Via Fillungo! There is something interesting to discover around every corner of Lucca.

North of Lucca, the famous Garfagnana Valley extends for miles, a splendid natural vista of mountains and hills. Along the way, stop at the famous "Devil's Bridge"—legend says the Devil himself has visited this spot. A huge Halloween celebration is held here every year. In Pisa, the famous Leaning Tower awaits. Some say it is one of the wonders of the world, and all agree that a sight of the Leaning Tower is a must for all who come to Italy. Nearby Forte Dei Marmi is one of the most popular places in Italy during the summer, boasting a beautiful beach, elegant shops and boutiques, and active nightlife of bars and discos like La Capannina and the Twiga Club.
